Free Artbooks and some Websites to Buy Artbooks

Hey all!

If you want to brush up on the fundamentals and learn on your own time, or just want to read some really cool books, then here you go! Have Fun! :D

Andrew Loomis Books- Great source in learning the fundamental, especially his books on Anatomy and Form. I would say start on "Successful Drawing", then move onto "Figure Drawing for What it's Worth" when you feel like you understand the basics. And even if you do understand it, it never hurts to go back! :D

John Buscema How to Draw the Marvel Way- Awesome book for beginners who are lost on what "form" and "gesture" is. If you're pulling your hairs wondering why your drawing feels flat, give this book a try! Like previously mentioned, it never hurts to go back to the basics.

Scott Robertson How to Draw- A comprehensive guide to ALL things perspective. If you're having trouble in perspective, I suggest reading this book to brush up on your grids, ellipses, equal spaces, etc. From props to environment to characters, everything needs to follow in perspective!
